For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, Says the LORD, who has mercy on you — Isaiah 54 : 10

Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
— matthew 5 : 3 - 20
Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth. For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do--to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him-- then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today;
— deuteronomy 11 : 18 - 28
Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You. The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity. You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue. Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Who is our God
Perhaps this is the most important, ignored, and confusing question! So NOW It is important to be clear that the God introduced in the Holy Scriptures is not the general idea of God adopted by Deists, nor the higher God over many gods introduced in Hinduism, nor Allah, the God of Arabs, introduced by Prophet Muhammad of Mecca, nor the belief in a universal truth or spirituality by Universalists, nor simply the teachings of a good man as in Buddhism. The Bible introduces ONE SPECIFIC GOD, who revealed Himself to chosen individuals to make them witnesses to Him for all nations and the world. He is the God of Israel, who sent His only Word, image, and Son, JESUS, to deliver the final message to the nations of the earth: to turn away from useless practices, evil ways, and false gods and beliefs. This message was proven by a unique event: His resurrection from death after three days, a proof given by no other god. Before His second coming for judgment and the end of a world controlled by money, power, and evil, He will establish His new kingdom in New Jerusalem, founded on justice, peace, and purity, with no more pain, disease, terrorism, or false religious authority. In the Bible, the Almighty God of Israel is known by many names, each revealing a different aspect of His character and relationship with humanity. He is called Elohim, highlighting His power as the Creator; El Shaddai, signifying His might and sufficiency; and Adonai, indicating His lordship. Other names include Jehovah Jireh, the Provider; Jehovah Rapha, the Healer; and Jehovah Nissi, the Banner. One of the most profound names is Yahweh, often rendered as Jehovah, which God Himself revealed to Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3:14-15, saying, ”I AM WHO I AM.“ This name, Yahweh, is deeply significant as it expresses God's eternal, self-existent nature. The use of Yahweh, translated as LORD in many Bible versions, appears over 6,800 times in the Old Testament, emphasizing its importance. It is through this name, Yahweh, that God establishes His unique identity, distinct from all other gods, underscoring His presence, faithfulness, and unchanging essence. This revelation marks a profound moment in biblical history, highlighting the intimate relationship He seeks with His people, encapsulating His covenantal promise to be with them always.
Why Bible is different
The Bible is distinct from other religious books due to several unique aspects. It claims divine inspiration, presenting itself as the word of God revealed to human authors through the Holy Spirit. This results in a cohesive narrative despite being written by approximately 40 different authors over a span of around 1,500 years. These authors came from diverse backgrounds, including prophets, kings, fishermen, and scholars. The Bible is divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament, written originally in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The Old Testament, also known as the Hebrew Bible, was primarily written in Hebrew, with some portions in Aramaic, and dates from about the 12th to the 2nd century BCE. The New Testament was written in Greek during the first century CE. Central to the Bible is the figure of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection are believed to fulfill ancient prophecies and offer salvation through grace by faith, a concept unique to Christianity. This message of unmerited favor from God distinguishes the Bible's theology. Furthermore, the Bible's ethical teachings, particularly those found in the Sermon on the Mount, emphasize love, forgiveness, and moral integrity, and are considered revolutionary and foundational for Christian ethics. The Bible includes significant historical documentation, providing detailed accounts of the history of the Israelites, the life and ministry of Jesus, and the early Christian church. These historical elements are often corroborated by external sources and archaeological findings. The process of canonization, by which the books of the Bible were recognized as authoritative, was rigorous and guided by criteria such as apostolic authorship, consistency of doctrine, and widespread acceptance in the early church. The Bible's profound impact on literature, art, law, and ethics across different cultures and civilizations further underscores its unique position. It has been translated into more languages than any other book, making it accessible to people worldwide. The Bible's message is presented as universal, addressing themes of creation, sin, redemption, and eternal life, intended for all of humanity. Its extensive translation and distribution, coupled with its historical, ethical, and theological uniqueness, highlight why the Bible stands apart from other religious texts.
